We congratulate Timothy Luchsinger on his apprenticeship diploma and the good performance!

He came to our company via Iibs Industrielle Berufslehren Schweiz and completed his internship with us at SKS AG Kunststoffe & Werkzeugbau.

We wish him all the best for the future and would also like to thank his trainer David Niederöst and Jeanine Weissenbach on behalf of the entire set-up team!

This year in 2022 we have taken delivery of two injection moulding machines, bringing our total to 45. The characteristics of precise mould closure and very precise injection were important arguments for the purchase of the two injection moulding machines from Netstal. With these machines we follow our philosophy of producing very small complex parts with great precision. Both machines are fully electric and, together with the Sepro 5-axis robot, enable us to produce series efficiently with high repeatability to ensure the required quality in large quantities. The highly automated packaging systems allow us to store the parts in a sorted and gentle manner and, if necessary, to produce at weekends without personnel.  

As an ISO 14'000 certified company, we always strive to invest in the latest technologies and to produce in an energy and environmentally friendly way. This is why the fully servo motor-controlled machines are a perfect fit for our company.

In November 2022, we were able to take delivery of our new Hermle precision 5-axis milling machine in the tool shop. It has a traverse path of 650 x 650 x 500 mm and a disturbance circle of Ø 840 mm. The machine can be loaded with 1000 kg and has a tool storage of 86. The spindle with a speed of 25'000 enables us to produce the workpieces efficiently. With this new machine we would like to remain true to our principle that a good plastic injection moulding company operates a modern and technologically advanced mould shop.

We can only produce the parts for our customers as good as the moulds are. Therefore, we continue to invest in our in-house mould construction in order to be constantly up to date.
