Chairman of the Board
As Chairman of the Board of Directors, Karl Steiner has remained a creative developer to this day. With a workload of 3 days, he still passionately researches complex technical solutions and supports the company in an advisory capacity. In his private life he is full of energy too: He loves everything to do with technology and cars and enjoys extensive hiking and travelling.
Managing Director
Co-owner
Valerie Steiner likes contrasts. As Managing Director, she skilfully masters the balancing act between dry figures – which require uncompromising accuracy – and the needs and concerns of the staff. Her leisure time is equally rich in contrast. Whether travelling or on horseback it's always an adventure, whereas when reading for pleasure the thrills are provided by the words on the page.
Head of Innovation/Toolmaking
Member of the Executive Board / Co-owner
Head of Innovation/Toolmaking, Michael Steiner gets to the bottom of complex associations and creates synergies and automation solutions with passion, in order to make the manufacture of SKS products even more efficient. He also expresses this passion in his personal life when restoring classic cars. His favourite way to spend his leisure time is with his kids Elin and Nick and their mum Simone.
Social Media Managerin
Co-Owner
Diversity makes the difference. As Head of the Communication and Marketing as well as Sales department, Lilian Steiner values the creativity of her job just as much as the direct contact with people and the ever-changing challenges. She also likes diversity in her leisure time. Whether it be reading, cooking, sewing, tennis or meeting friends, Lilian Steiner enjoys variety.
Operational Manager
Member of the Executive Board
New projects are his speciality. As the Operational Manager, Christoph Weber enjoys actively shaping processes and manufacturing methods, and is always tackling new challenges. In his personal life he is politically-minded and active in the community, and he burns off energy doing sports in the countryside. On the other hand, he enjoys some peace and quiet as a passionate theatre- and concert-goer.
CTO
Member of the Executive Board
Technology and team spirit characterize the day-to-day work of Manuel Peter, our Head of Technology. He particularly appreciates the demanding challenges of the complex world of plastics, as this is precisely where he can put his in-depth specialist knowledge and passion for precision work to optimum use. Interdisciplinary collaboration with the various teams is also close to his heart - developing solutions together, learning from each other and enabling progress. In addition to his job, his family plays a central role for him. He also recharges his batteries in the great outdoors, whether climbing, hiking or cycling.
Head of development and project management
Member of the Executive Board
Technology and people: Both belong to the job of Urs Dürst, and he loves exactly this combination. The project manager is responsible for parts production and technical work and appreciates the contact with customers and employees.
Urs Dürst has a family with three children and is active in his spare time - with ice skates and hockey stick, the bike, the ski or in the gymnastics club.
Head of Production Engineering
Member of the Executive Board
He loves challenges - both on the job and in his free time. In both areas, Roger Zweifel benefits from his flexibility and stamina. He appreciates the teamwork and quick decision-making processes at SKS AG. The fact that the Head of Production Engineering is always aiming high is also demonstrated by his hobbies: mountaineering, skiing and biking.
Project Manager Sales
Trust, openness, and team spirit shape Pascal Crenn’s everyday work. He particularly appreciates the informal environment in which there is room for humor and respectful interaction. The open “YOU” culture and constructive way of dealing with mistakes create a working atmosphere in which everyone meets as equals. This is entirely in line with his idea of cooperation.
Pascal uses his technical expertise to analyze and calculate precisely and in a solution-oriented manner. He prefers to work in a team: thinking together, acting together and always with the aim of achieving the best for the customer. Their satisfaction and friendly cooperation are particularly important to him. His approachable, open manner makes him a valued colleague.
He expresses his creative side through 3D printing, and finds balance and new inspiration while canoeing and hiking.
Technical Sales Representative
Diversity and new challenges shape Sandro’s everyday work life.
He especially appreciates being confronted with new tasks every day and finding the best possible solutions. Interacting with a wide variety of people, along with the familiar and collegial atmosphere within the team, with customers and suppliers, makes his work particularly rewarding. No two days are the same and it’s precisely this variety that motivates him time and again.
In his free time, family is his top priority. Being active together whether biking, climbing, hiking, or skiing provides Sandro with both balance and joy. He also finds relaxation in his own garden: there's always something to do, and the work itself helps him unwind. And when time and weather permit, he loves taking his motorcycle or Vespa out for a ride to clear his mind and recharge.
Head of Human Resources
New workday, new challenges: Barbara Mühlegg finds it exciting to come into the office and always expects the unexpected.
As a human resources manager, she naturally appreciates the contact with employees. Barbara Mühlegg likes spending her free time hiking, biking and canoeing. As a sports fan she never misses football or ice hockey games (Lakers!) nor does she miss out on a good beer – even a home-brewed one.
Head of Production Planning, Purchasing & Logistics
Variety and responsibility characterize Marcel Stettler's day-to-day work. He particularly appreciates the variety of activities along the entire value creation. From the initial idea to successful implementation. Close teamwork and coordination with internal and external partners gives him new inspiration every day. He considers direct contact with customers and suppliers essential – to listen, understand, and develop solutions together. Marcel also places great importance on continuously designing and optimizing processes and procedures – always with the goal of sustainably increasing efficiency and quality.
He finds balance in nature, whether cycling or going on excursions with his family. These shared moments are just as important to him as his professional dedication, providing him with fresh energy and inspiration.
AVOR Administrator / Scheduling
Always keeping track of everything. As a scheduler, Paul Hofmann resolves all scheduling conflicts whenever possible and is the interface for all departments, internally and externally on the customer side. In hectic situations his hobbies help him, because as a footballer and tennis player he is used to quick ball handling and likes to shift into a higher gear on his bike.
Head of Quality Assurance/Quality Management
Precision is his passion. This means that Patrik Bosshard, as Head of Quality Assurance and Quality Management, is in exactly the right place in every sense of the word. Conscientious and structured, he works closely with the various departments to ensure that quality always remains at the highest level. He draws strength from jogging and spending time with his family.
Deputy Head of Quality Assurance
Measurement Technician
Good teamwork leads to success: Daniel Kessler knows this not only as a football fan. In the company too, team spirit counts for him. And so he delivers long passes in the form of well-founded analyses for colleagues in production and in various projects. The determined and solution-oriented Deputy Head of Quality Assurance enjoys spending his free time outdoors with his family and dog.
Design Engineer
The manufacture of plastic parts is a team sport. As a design engineer, Günter Lassnig experiences this every day in the interaction between workshop and production when technical solutions are needed. This is no problem for him as a sporty team player – after all, in his leisure time he also provides perfect passes on the volleyball court and burns off energy on his mountain bike.
