Apprenticeship as Design Engineer EFZ

Become a Design Engineer EFZ – a profession that is currently in high demand and incredibly versatile.
With us, you will develop and design individual components and assemblies for machines, devices, and systems. You will work with modern CAD software, plan processes, solve technical challenges, and turn ideas into real products.

The first year of the apprenticeship, including extended basic training/specialization in design engineering as well as 54 days of intercompany courses (ÜK), takes place at azo in Uster. From the second year onwards, apprentices transfer to SKS AG in Laupen.
We offer a diverse training program with state-of-the-art software and infrastructure. Apprentices are part of a small design engineering team. Vocational school is attended in nearby Rüti (ZH).
The apprenticeship can be completed with or without a vocational baccalaureate (Berufsmatura).

• Good spatial sense
